Hartlepool Enterprise Week - Monday 14th to Friday 18th November
Hartlepool Enterprise Week is a series of free events aimed at helping people find out about how to start a business or become self-employed. Whether you have a great business idea or simply want to turn a hobby into income, a range of advice and support is available during the week to help you identify the next steps to becoming your own boss. Hartlepool Enterprise Week has been organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team in partnership with key business support organisations.
All of our open events will be held at the BIS, Whitby Street.

Exploring Self-Employment (Week 1)

If you are considering self-employment or recently set up a business this is your opportunity to find out about ‘business basics’. From legal status, tax, national insurance, VAT, expenses, marketing, book-keeping, general operations and how to finance the start-up costs. This session is the first of three which will be delivered at the BIS on consecutive Thursdays.
