The UK food and drink supply chain is facing unprecedented pressures from external factors such as climate change, rising costs, global geopolitical shifts, and a shortage of skilled workers. For businesses within this sector, these challenges are unavoidable. But there are actionable strategies you can implement to mitigate their impact by focusing on what you can control within your own operations.

Join us for a series of fully funded workshops, delivered by Food and Drink North East (FADNE), specifically designed to support food and drink businesses across the Tees Valley. These sessions will provide practical insights and tools to help you navigate the current landscape and improve your business’s resilience and performance.

What to Expect:

Our workshops will delve into the critical balance between demand and supply in the food and drink industry. We’ll explore how to effectively manage resources, enhance operational efficiency, and meet customer demands, all while maintaining a competitive edge.

Key topics include:

  • Resource Planning
  • Optimising Factory Performance
  • Streamlining Changeovers and Setups
  • Articulating Your Value Proposition

By demystifying these crucial aspects, our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and techniques needed to overcome the challenges you face and drive your business forward.

Workshop Structure:

The programme will kick off with a half-day awareness event, providing an overview of the sector’s current challenges. This session will not only offer valuable insights but also serve as a platform for you to share your experiences and specific needs. The feedback gathered will shape the content of the subsequent workshops, ensuring they are tailored to address the most pressing issues facing your business.

Who Should Attend:

This workshop series is ideal for food and drink businesses in the Tees Valley with a B2B sales model (at least 75% of sales) and a team of five or more employees. Whether you’re looking to optimize your processes, enhance productivity, or strengthen your market position, this workshop series offers the tools and support you need to succeed.
