Join us for one of the first open tours of the Northern Film and TV Studios – the only large-scale television and film studio complex in the North East.

The studios provide sound stage and green screen facilities for a range of content producers – from features and HETV through to promo and immersive. Stages are configured for single or multiple users. The Northern Studios are at the heart of an area with excellent location shooting opportunities: coastal, rural, urban, industrial and heritage – all within 45 minutes by road.

The Northern Studios is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Northern School of Art – on the board of directors we have representation from the project funder, local council, and an independent director from the screen industry.
