We’re looking for dedicated individuals working in the local visitor economy who are passionate about Tees Valley to help drive forward the region’s tourism strategy.

Tees Valley has recently secured designation as a Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP). This recognition from Visit England has given us an unparalleled opportunity to drive forward our ambitions for our tourism sector.

It provides key benefits such as connecting with other regions, being part of national campaigns and securing dedicated support for local businesses. The LVEP is intended to support the growth of our visitor economy, and we need your expertise!

The Tees Valley Mayor will Chair a new Local Visitor Economy Partnership Board which brings together representatives from across the region’s diverse destination offer.

We are now seeking people with sector-specific expertise, strategic insight, strong networks and a passion for enhancing the local visitor economy who are willing to be a representative of their industry to inform and support delivery of plans for strengthening the visitor economy.

This could be those who work for attractions, accommodation, food and drink, tour operators, accessibility advocates, content creators or others in the sector. We’re looking for businesses of any size.
