Open to anyone living in Tees Valley who is taking up a new job in any of the five local authority areas (Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, Hartlepool or Redcar and Cleveland). This is an initiative developed by Let’s Go Tees Valley in partnership with Arriva North East and Stagecoach. The aim of the ticket is to help with the cost of travel in the first week and to encourage people to continue using the bus once they have their first pay cheque.
This ticket launched on 15th January 2020 and runs until 30 April 2020. It sees Let’s Go Tees Valley, which is supported by the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority, partnering with transport operators Arriva North East and Stagecoach to help promote bus travel to work across the Tees Valley.
